BUBEN & ZÖRWEG – The history
The brand BUBEN & ZÖRWEG is developing itself amongst watch lovers ever more to an exclusive secret tip in the world of exclusive and luxury timepieces. The two schoolfriends Harald Buben and Christian Zörweg placed new standards in the market for winders shortly after the founding of the enterprise in 1995. Continuous development and innovation soon allowed the presentation of the world's smallest, the world's largest, and then also the most exclusive watch winder.
Another milestone in the development of the enterprise was the introduction of the sleep phase in all TIME MOVER models. In 2005, the foundation of BUBEN & ZÖRWEG Fine Timepieces, jointly with Daniel Zörweg, took place and, associated with it, presentation of the first collection of luxury table clocks.
In 2007 BUBEN & ZÖRWEG presented another innovation – the BUBEN & ZÖRWEG Double Tourbillon, which after two years of intensive development work in the enterprises own Atelier D`hologerie provided supreme precision in a series for a desk clock.
In 2008 BUBEN & ZÖRWEG presented some new "Objects of Time" – masterpieces that combine a BUBEN & ZÖRWEG Fine Timepieces TIME MOVER winder and a host of other features (Safe, Humido, bar, etc.) to create a luxury item.
